Under the 15-year rule (outside the RIV program), a car can be imported once it is 15 years old, counted from its month of manufacture. Pick a year to see which model codes reach that age.
These rules have not been confirmed by a local customs broker yet.
Production months are approximate. What counts is the manufacture date of the individual car — check it on the export certificate before you buy.
