JDM cars that become legal to import to the US in 2028
Under the FMVSS 25-year exemption, a car can be imported once it is 25 years old, counted from its month of manufacture. These model codes have production months that reach that age during 2028.
Preliminary estimate
Some of the import rules and fees for the United States have not yet been confirmed by an official source or a customs broker. Treat this as a rough range and confirm with a licensed customs broker in the United States before you buy.
